Bus "Captains"

today was supposed to be quite an okay day... until the end of the day...

i forgot to bring my ezlink card out this morning so i had to buy standard ticket and pay using coins on my way to school... all was fine... then went i was on my way home... i boarded bus 975, SMRT bus... the driver was an idian man in his 30s-40s (not being racist or anything, if it was a chinese i would say so too). so i took out some coins, counted em, checked em, 2 20 cents 1 10 cents and 1 golden 5 cents. then i threw em into the bloody machine. then i waited... after a short pause, i stared at the driver, and he stared back... then i was like thinking "wtf are you waiting for, press the bloody button?" then i stared at him and he stared back again. then he said, " 55cents, then he sorta looked at the machine and said 50cents"... then i was like , " huh? i put 5 cents already wad..." (he continued staring) then i stopped... sighed... and i was like fine... its the end of the day, and im tired and in no mood to quarrel with you... so i took out another 10cents and threw it in.

But still, i was feeling kinda shitty all the way on the ride back... In the middle of the journey, a guy walked onto the bus threw in either 50 or 55cents i dunno and went to sit. then the driver was like calling him and saying 50cents 50cents. then the plump guy was like took out his wallet, in a "cid" like manner, showed his student pass and said "student" in a tone like he was right and the driver was wrong. then the driver just i dunno whether he was intimidated or wad, he just pressed the ticket button...

its like, wah tat guy fierce then he just give in, i not fierce then can bully lar?

and i was bloody sure i put in 55cents anyway... cos i purposely changed 2 5cents from michelle in school before leaving=.=

putting the money aside, that was an insult to my integrity... so im still feeling kinda pissed. Bus "Captians"?... im not so sure about that... i think they better stick to Bus "Drivers".

Another incident to sorta support the above incident was like few months back, my friends and I were taking SBS bus 100, driver was a chinese, kinda bald i think... heck i cant remember... anyway, my fren forgot to bring her ezlink card lar so she paide 55cents. then the driver was like insisting she showed her ezlink card or pay adult fare. my fren was like paying in cash obviously because she didnt bring her ezlink card, then the bloody driver was making a bloody fuss and kept demanding that she pay adult fare even though she was obviously a student (wearing school uniform and destination was rvhs) =.= so in the end i forked out 50cents and paid the remaining bit for her... but we were all feeling bloody pissed with the driver cos he was being totally unreasonable and his tone wasnt likeable one bit...

bad attitudes, unreasonable, unequal treatment of all passengers... etc...

i seriously dun feel right at all at these bus drivers being called bus "captains"

of cos... some of em are really nice, but some of these bad eggs just spoil our whole impression of em...

Bus "Captains" ? Bus Drivers? ........

i dunno how to carry on man... so think about it ppl...
